Olympic JROTC Staff

The Olympic Community of Schools US Army JROTC programis led by an extremly elite group of students in the Olympic JROTC program. The 2007-2008 Brigade Staff is said to be the best Olympic has ever seen, setting standards well exceeding those of previous years, and maintaining the best record of on time work in Olympic's history. The Battalion and Company Comanders are also some of the best the Trojan Brigade has ever seen. Having the closest connection to cadets in several years, the 2007-2008 Battalion and Company Commanders have intiated numerous outstanding programs , such as the Company Cup.
Led by Cadet Colonel Justin M. Tucker, the Olympic Trojan Brigade is setting and achieving standards higher than ever before, within Olympic and the entire Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district.
Accomplishments such as the new Brigade Staff Office, and completly redesigned JROTC Classrooms have left a long lasting mark on the program. Furthermore, the intiation of new programs such as the Company Cup, Battalion Staff's, Outstandning Officer Award, and Classroom Connection are just a few of the many outsanding feats of these leaders. One of the highlighting achievments taken on by this outstanding group of students was the Olympic Community of Schools JROTC 9/11 Commeration Serivce. Unlike any other in the district, the staff used over 200 cadets to create a memorial on the Olympic Football field, another first for the Olympic JROTC program. The program was attended by over 800 students, members of the media, and local Police, Fire, and EMS personnel.
As the largest JROTC program in the 4th Brigde, and the United States of America, the leaders of this program are charged with fostering a program that not only maintains the Olympic JROTC "Tradition of Excellence" but also provides a long lasting effect on the program that will be remembered for years to come.
