Oliver John (wrestler)

Oliver John Steinwandt (March 13, 1973) is an American professional wrestler. John has worked extensively throughout the independent circuit in countries including the United States, Canada, Japan and Mexico. Oliver also train several wrestlers through out his career including Brian Cage.
Professional wrestling career
John began training in professional wrestling in 1989 after meeting Paul DeMarco, a notable wrestler of the 1960s and '70s. Throughout the years after that time, John has wrestled throughout the world and served the wrestling world with his knowledge through training other aspiring wrestlers. As a California native, John has worked with the Sacramento Wrestling Federation, serving as a head trainer. During this expansive career in wrestling, John has won championships in promotions including the National Wrestling Alliance, All Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Revolution. He appeared in ECW briefly in 2009.
Ultimate Pro Wrestling (2004)
John appeared in Ultimate Pro Wrestling 10/30/2004. He wrestled Tom Howard for the UPW Heavyweight Championship in a losing effort
WWE (2004, 2007, 2009)
Oliver John has had several appearances in the WWE. In 2004 he lost to Chuck Palumbo on Sunday Night Heat Episode 313 in Anaheim, California. In 2007 Oliver John, wrestling as Oliver Stone, wrestled in a tag match with Kafu losing to The Highlanders on WWE Heat episode 449 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. His final appearance for WWE was in 2009 losing to Sheamus on ECW episode 160 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California

Oliver John appeared in Ring of Honor in 2005 defeating at ROH Steel Cage Warfare at Basketball City New York City, New York
All Pro Wrestling (2006-2013)
Oliver John debuted on 11/18/2006 in a match against Kafu for the APW Universal Heavyweight Title, the match ended in a no contest. He won the APW Universal Heavyweight Title on 03/24/2007 again Kafu.
Pro Wrestling Revolution (2008-Present)
Oliver John worked in Pro Wrestling Revolution as "Old School" Oliver John and won the vacated PWR Heavyweight Title against Gangrel on 8/11/2008 at Mt. Pleasant High School in San Jose, California, USA. John started a rivalry against Blue Demon Jr. for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship that lead to a title mach at Championship Wrestling from Hollywood for the title on 11/14/2008. Oliver from the "Border Patrol/La Migra" to fight against Blue Demon and other Mexican Wrestlers. Oliver started going by "El Patron" Oliver John around this time and former a stable to combat the "Illegal" wrestlers coming into america in various promotions, Members of The Border Patrol/La Migra On June 6, 2009 he defeated Blue Demon Jr and won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. But the question came up if he did win the belt he won the "Red" Belt and the Blue Demon Jr he beat was not the real Blue Demon Jr when the real one showed up with the "Black" Belt. Blue Demon defeated Oliver John in a non title match but the controversy still stood who was the real world champion
National Wrestling Alliance (2008-2012)
Oliver John first appeared in 05/17/2008 for the National Wrestling Alliance with the Border Patrol. They lost to El Hijo de Rey Misterio, Mr. Primetime and Tito Aquino at Mount Pleasant High School in San Jose, California. in 05/31/2008 The Border Patrol (Nathan Rulez and Oliver John) lost to El Jijo de Rey Misterio and Rey Misterio Sr. in a title match for the vacant Revolution Tag Team Title.
Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (2008-2012)
Oliver John's first appearance for NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood was on 11/14/2008 challenging for the NWA World Heavyweight Title in a losing effort against Blue Demon, Jr. At the Cauliflower Alley Club in Las Vegas, Nevada The NWA Heritage Title (Now the CWFH Heritage Heavyweight Championship) was defended in a Four Way Elimination Match where Oliver John defeats Chris Hero, Ryan Taylor (c) and Steve Anthony for the title
