Oligo Primer Analysis Software is the first software specialized for DNA primer design on the market, introduced in 1989 in a publication, which has been cited above 330 times (according to Scopus). It is a comprehensive primer and probe search and analysis tool, created and maintained by Dr. Wojciech Rychlik and Dr. Piotr Rychlik, and distributed through the Internet.
It has been used in many research labs.
