Olaf E. Simon (born 1929) is a pioneer of martial arts in Canada, as well as an entrepreneur and author. Simon was born in Sztynort, Poland (what was part of Germany before World War II). He started his first Karate/Kung-fu school in Calgary, Canada, in 1963 At its height, Temple Kung Fu numbered about 13 - 16 schools across Canada and Western USA. In 2010, Olaf Simon was inducted into The Canadian Black Belt Hall Of Fame.
