North Herts Premier Pool League NHPPL

The NHPPL
The North Herts Premier Pool League is showpiece UK 8 Ball Pool League covering Hertfordshire in South East England. It is regarded by many to be the highest level of amateur UK Blackball traditional pool in the County of Hertfordshire.
Matches are predominately played at venues in the Hertfordshire towns of Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth and surrounding Villages. The high profile competition is home to current National & World ranked players such Danny Miller, Perry Gillett, Michael Kent & Gareth Steele.
The main rivalries include the clash of major pool forces from the three main towns. Tom Tiddlers (a highbred team of Stevenage’s elite players, Broadmead a powerhouse team representing Hitchin and the Pelican from Letchworth featuring an Allstar line-up hailing from the Baldock Pool League. Other teams include Rileys Snooker & Pool Club, Hitchin Football Club and many local establishments.
As on 2008, Hitchin player Dave Berry is the reigning singles champion.
The League is sanctioned by UK8Ball and Inview Sports Events.

I sent you this earlier this year. I just wondered if you had had any response from the players ?? 
 
The Breda Cup 
 
Friday the 29th April- Monday 2nd May 
 
Fri-sat is a 5 person team event. £50 entry per team.Playing the best of 10. We are limiting it to 20 teams, 10 in each section, playing the best of 10 frames. Playing a round robin, with the top 4 in each group playing off on the saturday night. 
Top 4 teams paid out + trophies 
 
Sun is a singles KO for the players in the teams. £10 entry. Top 8 paid out + trophies to the finalists 
Monday is scotch doubles out of the hat, £10 entry per player, top 8 paid out. + trophies to tthe finalists  
Breda Lager will be putting the trophies up, and I will put another £300 in the prize funds, as all entry fees will be paid out. Should be around £3,700 in all. 
 
I would be delighted if any of your teams would like to play. Accomodation will be on a reduced rate in the Pommedor Hotel,and the which is adjacent to the club. And also the Merton Hotel in St Saviour.
