NOFAL Egyptian family name. The well known person held this family name was Waraka bin Nofal. He was a Christian Priest as refrences shown or he might be a Jewish Rabbie. Waraka bin Nofal was the uncle of Mrs. Khadiga bint Khwailed (Om El Moemenien), the first wife of The Muslem Prophet Mohamed. Nofal family displaced from Makka to Egypt and localized mainly in Upper Egypt. They stablish a small village named as Naoafla refering to Nofal group. In Assiut governorate there is a small village named Ezbet Nofal. Regarding the governorate Sohag, the most famous persons was Dr. Houssien Sabry Nofal (1932-2000) and his son, Dr. Tarek Nofal (Pharmacist and Business Man)born on March 27,1964. His brothers Khaled, Hisham, Amr Nofal and his sister, Amal Nofal are settled in Sohag City. Dr. Tarek Nofal is married from Dr. Sanaa El Esily (Pharmacist), mother of Nada (1990), Noha (1995), Mohamed (1997) and Hana (2004) are resident in Warak bin Nofal street, Sohag, Egypt Nofal Sub groups displaced Upper Egypt to Cairo, Alexandria, Sharkia. Dr. Abdel Razik Nofal and Sayed Nofal were the most famous in this area.
