Noctuam Society

The Noctuam Society is a and creative collective of "artists, journalists, bohemians and thought leaders” which touts to promote the creation and dissemination of creative excellence. The organization was founded in 2002 as a private social club for professionals in the eastern United States and whose motto is quoted as "Pioneers take the arrows, settlers take the land, so under the cover of that starry-decked-heaven, fear not those slings and arrows. Night is where creativity finds its footing and is the venue under which our muses are freest to flourish”. The organization was named Noctuam after the Latin word for Owl.
Mission
According to their website, the purpose of the Noctuam Society is to “serve its members through activities that bolster their skills, and through social activities that build a vital creative community". However, little is known about the true function of the Noctuam Society aside from information that has been leaked by invited guests.
