NIX Solutions is the Software Development, IT Management, Consulting and Support Company based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Its main work regions are Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway,Switzerland, UK, USA and China. The company's customer list includes Guilded Tusk LLC, SyncForce B.V, GruppoPro SPA, AllStarProjects.com.NIX Solutions is headquartered in Kharkiv. Igor Braginsky is the current President of the company and Victor Shalnev is its CEO. NIX Solutions' staff nowadays accounts over 1000 employees.
History
1994 - 1999
NIX Solutions was one of the first companies to provide IT services in Kharkov. From 1994 to 1997 company was developing specific software products, adapting existing products according to clients’ needs and automating clients’ business projects using mostly C/C++, Pascal and FoxPro.
The company started working with foreign clients, mostly Internet and Telecom providers. Among them were LuckyNet (Israel), Doryanet (Israel), EZS Ltd (USA), Barravoe Inc (Bolivia / Israel) and others.
1999
In this year NIX Solutions got its current name. "NIX" which was a reference to Unix and Linux platforms.
NIX Solutions became partners with United SoftHouse Company, an Israeli-based software development corporation that represents NIX Solutions on international market even nowadays. This partnership gave the company new opportunities and publicity overseas.
2000
NIX Solutions Company created departments like PHP, .NET, Java,JS/UI,QA.
2008
The Company started development for the mobile platforms, such as Windows Mobile.
2011
NIX operating more than 250 projects for more than 90 Clients at different Business Domains.
2012
In this year NIX Solutions started working with all range of Mobile Platforms:Windows Phone 7, Bada, iOs, Android. The company staff, which consisted of 500 people, worked with more than 100 clients.
TodayUSH operates as Sales & Marketing Headquarters and NIX Solutions Ltd. as Research and Development Center.
Ranking and Recognition
In 2002 NIX Solutions offered outsourcing services on Elance, an online staffing platform. The first Elance project earned the company only $50. 25-30% of the company’s revenue comes from Elance. NIX results of 2014 on Elance: over 200 jobs, over 50% clients come back.It also holds 11 place in TOP-25 The biggest IT-companies in Ukraine.
