Niels Bonke

Niels Bonke is a Danish Composer, Drummer, Pianist, Songwriter, Recording Artist & Producer(1959- ?).
He has been drummer in several Danish symphonic, heavy rock/metal bands from the middle of the 1980s through the 1990s. Amongst them the symphonic rock band "Trace" (which changed its name to "Apart" in 1988) (Released one record), whom amongst other concerts played as a supporting act to the Canadian super-group "SAGA" in Copenhagen. In 1993 Niels Bonke (under the name of (Neil Hayward) joined a heavy-rock group called Zoltan. In 1996 Zoltan released the album "Book of kings", which included Niels Bonke's drum-solo "When trains become drums".
In 2001 Niels Bonke began work on his first solo album, produced by the composer Frederik Magle. The album titled "Beneath The Surface" was released through MisLabel in 2004.
2008 Niels Bonke is featured playing drums/percussion on the progressive/symphonic Rock-single "POLYPHONY" released by Frederik Magle.
In January 2008, Niels Bonke started his own Recording Studio "ACTIONLAB MUSIC" and later the same year 2 singles, "GLASSBOX" and "COME ON LUCILLE" were released.
2009 March: Second solo-album "LORD OF THE MANNER" released 2009 November: Third solo-album "THE USELESS SHRINK" released 2010 June: Fourth solo-album "RACING THE CLOCK" released.

Since Niels Bonke's own Studio "ACTIONLAB MUSIC" took off, he has written/recorded/produced/finished more than 500 new compositions in every Music- genre.
He is at the moment working fulltime as a Composer/Producer/Songwriter and Recording Artist.
