Nicole Heather Libin is an Associate Professor at Mount Royal University and a Mindfulness Educator and Adjunct Professor at Mindful Schools, both in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Nicole earned a BA from the University of Toronto in 2002, an MA from the University of Toronto in 2003, and a Ph.D from the University of Calgary[] in 2009, specializing in Contemporary Religious Identity, Lived Religion, and Jewish Identity. Her Ph.D dissertation was "The Choosing people: constructing Jewish Buddhist identity in America." Research focus Nicole aims to integrate mindfulness instruction into every level of education, both formally and informally.
