Nicolas M. Chaillan (born August 3, 1984) is a technology entrepreneur, software developer and cybersecurity expert. As of 2017, he is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of several companies. Chaillan is the founder of AFTER-MOUSE.COM, Cyber Revolution, Table Ordering and anyGuest.com. He is also the Chief Architect of the Cyber.gov Program at the Department of Homeland Security and the Chairman of Holding AKT. Early life Chaillan was born in Marseille, France, to Sylvie Chaillan and French journalist, Bernard Chaillan. Business career Chaillan has participated in multiple industry conferences and has worked in close collaboration with government officials. Entrepreneur In 2000, at only 16, Chaillan created WORLDAKT and online game servers (GAMESAKT). In 2002, Chaillan officially joined the PHP team to help with the development of several extensions involving secure online payment such as SPPLUS and Cybermut. In 2009, he founded AFTER-MOUSE.COM, a company specializing in the development of multi-touch and motion recognition business applications; it was quickly recognized by Microsoft as an industry pioneer and named Startup of the Day. He founded and created anyGuest.com in 2013, a firm producing an ordering and payment mobile app for the hospitality industry; it won the best Innovation Award of IHMRS in 2013. In 2014, he became the founder of Nesting Partners focusing on leveraging patents to incubate companies that can be sold within a ten to fifteen month timeframe. Chaillan launched a targeted $20M fund in April 2015 in order to incubate 10 to 15 companies a year. In July 2015, he founded Cyber Revolution, inc., which offers preventive and corrective cybersecurity plans for small and larger organizations with monthly fees. Chaillan was a guest speaker at the Amazon Inventions Tour in 2016. Department of Homeland Security In 2016, Chaillan joined the Department of Homeland Security to be the Lead Architect of the Cyber.gov Program which is designing the new holistic cyber architecture for the Departments and Agencies of the .gov domain. Chaillan also actively contributed to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Personal life Nicolas Chaillan lives in Washington, D.C.
