Nick Montana

Nicholas Alexander "Nick" Montana is a high school football player, currently the quarterback at Oaks Christian in Westlake Village in southern California. Montana will graduate in 2010 and has orally committed to play football at the University of Washington in Seattle under head coach Steve Sarkisian. He is the youngest child of legendary NFL quarterback Joe Montana.
High school career
Nick Montana began high school at Cardnial Newman High High School in Northern California and when things didnt work out for him there he transferred to De La Salle in Concord, a suburb east of San Francisco. He transferred to Oaks Christian as a junior in 2008 and won the friendly competition for starting quarterback over sophomore Trevor Gretzky, the son of former NHL star Wayne Gretzky.
Another teammate is wide receiver Trey Smith, son of actor Will Smith.
During the 2008 football season, Montana led the Lions to an undefeated 14-0 record.
College career
Before verbally committing to Washington Huskies in June 2009, Montana also considered LSU, Ohio State, Stanford, Alabama and Georgia, as well as Notre Dame, his father's alma mater.
Family
Montana is the youngest of four children of Joe Montana and model-actress Jennifer Wallace. His three older siblings, two sisters and a brother, attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. His brother Nate, a 2008 alumnus of De La Salle, was a fourth-string quarterback on the Fighting Irish as a walk-on freshman. He transferred to Pasadena City College in 2009 as a redshirt freshman.
