Ngoni Takawira is the chief executive of the popular South African based clothing brand, Ama Kip Kip. Ama Kip Kip' flagship store is located at Rosebank Mall in Johannesburg. Founded in 2006 by business partners Nkosana Modise, Siyabonga Ngwekazi and Ngori Takawira, in 2008 the Ama Kip Kip brand gained momentum in South Africa and elsewhere on the African continent as the brand began to be patronised by many African celebrities such as Teargas, a hip hop crew in South Africa. Ama Kip Kip was recognized as one of the top clothing brands in South Africa, earning the 2008 Old Mutual Retail Revolution Award for the Best Youth Store. |
