Newslaundry is a new online news magazine launched by the well-known journalist Madhu Trehan and her colleagues. It is unique in the sense that its goal is to turn the mirror on itself. . As its founding editor Madhu Trehan stated on its launching on the 6th of February,2012,she has always enjoyed creating a product that does not exist. According to her,"NewsLaundry is a product which is not a clone of any other website in the world. The nature of it creates a new space.” In the short time it has been around,it has managed to attract notable authors like Abhinandan Sekhri , , Anand Ranganathan , Anand Vardhan , Ashoka Prasad ,and top Hollywood director Shekhar Kapur covering a wide range of topics relating to media practices.It has also carried one to one interviews with media stalwards like Siddharth Varadarjan. |
