New Citizen Program is a Chinese non-governmental organization that engages in efforts related to child services. It was established in 2007 and is based in Beijing, China. New Citizen aims to help improve the lives of migrant worker children. They offer an array of services including education opportunities, psychological care, and welfare services. New Citizen also collaborates with various grassroots organizations and other NGOs to help further improve the lives of children in migrant worker families.
In 2009, New Citizen Program and the Beijing branch of an international advertising agency commissioned three installation art pieces to show the effect of illiteracy on children in migrant worker families.
