Nazim Ali

Nazim Ali is a Professor Department of West Asian and North African Studies. presently Nazim Ali first Dean of the newly faculty established Faculty of International Studies, Aligarh Muslim University. he was formar Registrar, Aligarh Muslim University, (2003-2005).
Education
Nazim Ali received M.A. and Ph.D in Economics from the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India).
Academic career
He began his professional career as lecturer in Economics, AMU in 1977 and joined Centre of West Asian in 1986 as Associate Professor (Economics). Currently he is Professor (Economics) at the Department of West Asian and North African Studies.
Specialization
His teaching West Asian Economics and research methodology to post-graduate students. His teaching areas main of interest are development economies, economic policy and energy economics.
He has been associated as a fellow at the Harvard University, USA and has published articles in reputed academic journals including Japanese Studies of Middle Eastern Studies and OPEC Bulletin. Published several research studies in the form ofresearch monograph and has been guiding and supervising M.Phil/Ph.D students. He has also been involved in Academic Administration as OSD (Development) and Registrar of the University.
