National Emergency Services Memorial, UK

The National Emergency Services Memorial is a planned memorial in the United Kingdom dedicated to all members and volunteers of the British emergency services. The memorial is inspired by the National Emergency Services Memorial, Canberra in Australia.
The National Emergency Services Memorial is a Registered Charity in England and Wales (1172996) and Scotland (SC048678) The charity also sponsors "999 Day", an annual tribute to emergency services workers, which takes its name from 999, the national telephone number for emergency services in the United Kingdom.It was announced in September 2018 that there would be a list of seven possible locations for where the memorial will be built, with the public voting to decide the final location.
The UK Prime Minister, Theresa May supports the Emergency Services Memorial and the , along with the Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn, First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones, Former First Minister of Northern Ireland Arlene Foster, Home Secretary Sajid Javid, Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee Yvette Cooper, Former Prime Ministers David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, Sir John Major, Former Deputy Prime Ministers Michael Heseltine, Nick Clegg, John Prescott and many other former members of the British Cabinet.
