The crime scene cleanup industry has been around for excess of 25+ years. Initially, ABRA, the American Bio Recovery Association was established, due to lack of membership and internal conflicts. It was never able to receive any government contracts or grants. In 2013 several members left to establish the National Crime Scene Cleanup Association, including ABRA's one time president and co-founder Ronald Gaosperdoski, Owner of Bio Recovery Corporation. The National Crime Scene Clean Up Association (NCSCA) Was established in 2013 as a needed industry voice for such a diverse and niche market. The National crime scene clean up Association worked with the city of New York to orchestrate the cleanup of the Ebola virus cases in the United States At the gutter bowling ally in Brooklyn where Dr. Craig Spencer had visited prior to being diagnosed with Ebola. NCSCA with direct contact with New York City health department, Department of Environmental Conservation, CDC and other government entities cleaned up of Dr. Craig's apartment in Manhattan. The National Crime Scene Cleanup Association is composed of volunteers who offer crime scene cleanup services and advice at no charge to families. Initially established as 501c, they receive no financial donations as they work specifically on volunteering their time and services.
