Nathalie Gagné

Nathalie Gagné, born in Trois-Pistoles, is a Canadian makeup designer with Cirque du Soleil since 1995.
Early life
At the age of 12, she drew interest in for makeup. After studying theatre production at Saint-Hyacinthe College, she became the first to graduate from the Montreal branch of the Parisian makeup school Christian Chauveau in 1988.
Career
Gagne contributed to the success of more than 20 shows including; O, Love, Alegría to name a few and created 2,000 makeup designs from 5,000 sketches.
Key/Makeup for Cirque du Soleil's first motion picture, Alegría - An Enchanting Fable, and also was the Key/Makeup designer in the 3D movie of Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away directed by Andrew Adamson in 2012.
In her career she worked with creators like; Franco Dragone, Robert Lepage, Andrew Adamson, Thierry Mugler, Eiko Ishioka, Jamie King, Michael Curry and Dominique Lemieux.
She was nominated twice for a Gémeaux Award by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television for “Best Makeup”, she also has worked in the theatre, film and television industry.
