Natalie Ann Holt

Natalie Holt (born Natalie Ann Holt, June 29, 1982) is a television and film composer. She trained at the Royal Academy of Music and The National Film and Television School and has had a career as a classical violist before becoming a film composer.
Composer
Over the past few years her work has ranged from scoring the final series of Wallander (starring Kenneth Branagh), working with Hans Zimmer on Woman in Gold (Weinstein company), co-scoring the BAFTA and Ivor Novello nominated scores for BBC's The Honourable Woman and Great Expectations with Martin Phipps, to composing her modernist score for the avant-garde Spanish feature film Animals (Dir Marcal Fores). She also composed additional music for Heyday Film's hit Paddington as well as additional orchestration on the score.
Violinist
Natalie has played with orchestras touring the world, as a soloist with the English Chamber Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall and at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. She has worked with artists such as Alex Turner, Ellie Goulding, Kasabian, Carl Barat and George Michael.
Other works
Natalie has recently been working with secret cinema coordinating music for live film events.
