Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is a Nashville based, not-for-profit trade organization established in 1967 to represent the interests of songwriters. NSAI is a legislative voice for songwriters’ rights, serving songwriters of every genre through its advocacy endeavors as well as through educational retreats and conferences. NSAI holds songwriting workshops in more than 100 U.S. cities and 5 foreign countries. NSAI also promotes awareness of the cultural contributions made by songwriters by producing the annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival.
NSAI mission statement The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) consists of a body of creative minds, including songwriters from all genres of music, professional and amateur, who are committed to protecting the rights and future of the profession of songwriting, and to educate, elevate, and celebrate the songwriter and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large.
