Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3

Since August, 2008 developers wanted Naruto to continue on the PlayStation Portable but they needed a new approach. They did as what they did for the PS3. The Slogan for this game is "For the first the line between anime and gaming will truly dissapear portably. They know it can't be released in 2008, but it will be announced Q1 2009 as I'm told.

GamePlay
Ultimate Ninja Storm retains many of gameplay elements from the earlier installments of the Ultimate Ninja series. It features cel-shaded graphics that "will break the barrier between anime and video game". There will be no online play, but downloadable content will be available after the game's release. Unlike previous games, where players fight on a two-dimensional background, Ultimate Ninja Storm will allow players to fight on a completely three dimensional setting. The story mode loosely covers events from the start of the series to the end of the Sasuke Retrieval arc. Between missions players will be able to explore the Hidden Leaf Village, which acts as a central hub for selecting additional missions.

New features to the series introduced in Ultimate Ninja Storm include "mash" mode, which is initiated if both players activate their special attack at the same time. During this "mash", both players will have to press the corresponding buttons as fast as possible in order to knock out their opponent. Also added to the game is "Awakening Mode", a transformation that can be activated when a player has only one bar of health. Once activated, the player gains new abilities, speed and stronger attacks.
