Nancy Garcia is a fashion television producer best known for producing and creating fashion content for Bravo TV's The Fashion Show with Isaac Mizrahi seasons 1 and 2, and most recently for Lifetime Television's 24 Hour Catwalk with Alexa Chung. She was a mentor on an episode of Faking It USA, an American version of the Channel 4 program, which began in 2003 on the TLC network. The Fashion Show Season 1 The Fashion Show premiered on Bravo on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Fifteen professional designers competed in this fashion creative competition series for a chance to have their designs sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize. Internationally acclaimed designer Isaac Mizrahi shared hosting duties with four-time Grammy Award-winning performer and actress Kelly Rowland. Mizrahi and Rowland also served as judges alongside fashion luminary and Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion, Fern Mallis. Each week the designers were be put to the test and will have to face off in two challenges - the Harper's Bazaar Mini Challenge, judged by the magazine's Special Projects Director Laura Brown, and the elimination challenge. In the end, America would choose which contestant would have a clothing line available for retail and win the $125,000 prize. The Fashion Show Season 2 - Ultimate Collection The Fashion Show: Ultimate Collection (popularly known simply as The Fashion Show) is an American reality television series on the Bravo network which focuses on fashion design and is hosted by fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi and supermodel Iman. The contestants compete against each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme. Their designs are judged and one or more designers are eliminated each week. The show was originally co-hosted by Kelly Rowland, however, she was replaced by Iman in Season 2. 24 Hour Catwalk 24 Hour Catwalk, a new reality design competition, debuted Tuesday, January 10 on Lifetime. Host Alexa Chung is the most high ranking fashionista in London. The judges are: designer Cynthia Rowley, fashion PR maven James LaForce and New York journalist Derek Blasberg. Faking It USA Faking It USA was a television program originating on Channel 4 which has spawned various international remakes, including a United States version which began in 2003 on the TLC network.
