Nan McNamara is an American actress/director active in the Los Angeles theatre community. McNamara was born in St. Paul, MN and has been acting professionally since 1984. She is currently a member of Actors Co-op Theatre Company in Hollywood. Previously, she was a member of Theater East. In 2010, McNamara won Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle award for Distinguished Achievement for her role as Vivian Bearing in Margaret Edson's, "Wit," the story of a woman coming to terms with her past in the waning hours of her life. McNamara also won an L.A. Weekly theatre award in 2011 for Leading Female Performance for the same production. In addition, McNamara has directed several shows at Actors Co-op, including "Last Train to Nibroc" - a WWII era love story. |
