Nailed Promise

Nailed Promise is a New Metal/Hardcore band based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Fronted by Nathan Garcia, Nailed Promise had an intense following at local clubs, venues throughout the state and nationally during the late 1990's and early 2000's. After a difference of opinion, life changes and a wedge caused by a new member by the name of "DAX", Nailed Promise ceased to exist as a recording and touring act.

Signed to Rescue Records, an independent label owned by Wuv of P.O.D. and Noah Bernardo Sr. (wuv's Dad) out of Chula Vista, CA in 1997, Nailed Promise put out their first Studio Full-Length, Realize. While the package art was a complete miss, they did receive good national and international distribution via Diamante Music Group. Produced by Nailed Promise & Marcos Curiel of P.O.D., the simplistic and inexpensively recorded set ignited fans all over the world. Following the release of Realize in 1998, Nailed Promise continued to tour with limited budget and little support from Rescue Records. 1997, 1998 and 1999 saw Nailed Promise packing out stages at Tom Fest and Cornerstone as well as receiving regular rotation on many locally-supported national radio stations. Nailed Promise made the top of the Progressive Airplay Journal Charts for much of their touring years. During this time, the video for Stand Tall was concepted and given to the band as a gift from Director Kurt Christenson.

In 1999 Nailed Promise and their label mates found themselves in a contract with a defunct label who's sole purpose was to propel P.O.D. into the mainstream. Given no contact from the label and no support, Nailed Promise released a new set of tracks with former label mates, Mindrage on Pluto Records in 2001.
