Naeem Charles is a Trinidad and Tobago professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for NISA team New Amsterdam FC. Career High school Charles attended Westinghouse High School, where he led them in scoring from 2009 to 2013. College and Amatuer Charles scored 16 goals in 73 games playing for LIU Brooklyn, and was named first-team All-NEC in 2016. During college, Charles played for NPSL teams Brooklyn Italians and Michigan Stars FC. Profesional Charles signed for German side DJK Tus Hordel in 2018 following a stint with USL League Two side F.A. Euro. Following the 2018-19 Westfalenliga 2 season, Charles returned to New York and signed a short contract with New York Cosmos. After his time with New York Cosmos, Charles joined LA Force for the beginning of the 2019-20 NISA season, where he appeared in 5 matches. Charles signed with New Amsterdam FC ahead of the 2020-21 NISA season. |
