Anthony Parry (born 24 June 1990) is an American professional rugby union player. He plays as a prop for Rugby United New York (RUNY) in Major League Rugby (MLR). He previously played at prop for NOLA Gold in the MLR and also for the Ohio Aviators in the short-lived PRO Rugby. Anthony attended Salisbury School (CT) from 2005-2009 and played lacrosse and football as a center and linebacker. He then attended Gettysburg College, earning a BA in Political Science and Government. He played rugby as a flanker and also was on the wrestling team. After graduating from Gettysburg, Anthony played with the Park City Haggis for two seasons from 2014-2015. In 2016 Anthony played for the Ohio Aviators in the inaugural U.S. professional league. Following the PRO Rugby season, he has played for New York Athletic Club and has continued with the team since then. In 2018 he played for Rugby United New York during their 2018 exhibition season and scored the team’s first-ever try against the Ontario Arrows. At the conclusion of the three-match season, he was signed by the NOLA Gold for the remainder of the 2018 Major League Rugby Season. During the Fall he played one match for the New England Freejacks against the Ontario Arrows, also scoring the first two tries of the Freejacks. After the match it was back to New York with RUNY, playing in the team’s preseason matches and preparing for the 2019 season
