Gregg Blasingame is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League and American Indoor Soccer Association. In 1982, Blasingame graduated from Lafayette High School. He attended Indiana University for one year, playing on the Hoosier’s soccer team in 1982. He transferred to St. Louis Community College-Meramec for the 1983 season. That year, he was a Third Team Junior College All American. In 1985, Blasingame signed with the Tacoma Stars of the Major Indoor Soccer League. He played four seasons for the Stars, with a brief off-season stint with the Cleveland Force. On June 20, 1988, the Stars traded Blasingame to the Cleveland Force for a third round draft pick. The Force released Blasingame during the 1988-1989 preseason and the Stars signed him on August 22, 1988. In 1989, the Stars released Blasingame and he moved to the Atlanta Attack of the American Indoor Soccer Association in 1989.
