Nadir Ali Khan was a professor at the Aligarh Muslim University and an Islamic preacher belonging to the Tablighi Jamaat. Early life Khan was born on 16 June 1931 in Rataul, into a family of Islamic scholars. He was appointed as reader in Aligarh Muslim University, later becoming professor of Urdu Language and then honorary consultant of the department. He became affiliated with the Tablighi Jamaat movement. Work Khan is a prolific writer in Urdu. Perhaps his best-known work is A history in Urdu Journalism (1822-1857) (1991), which examines newspapers from nine different cities. Death Khan died on 23 April 2022 and buried in AMU cemetery MintoE, there were tens of thousands of people in the funeral |
