My Library is a browser scripting library, written in JavaScript.
The purpose of My Library is to simplify common browser scripting tasks, such as Ajax submissions, DOM manipulation and animation.
It is a modular design, cross-browser and supports both HTML and XHTML documents. It is notable that unlike other browser scripting libraries (e.g. Prototype, jQuery), My Library does not use browser sniffing. This is important as browser sniffing is not practical for scripts served on the public Internet.
My Library was written primarily by David Mark with a few contributions and suggestions from members of the newsgroup. The first Alpha version appeared in February of 2008. A Beta version followed in the Spring of that year. A pre-release version with tweaks for the latest versions of Firefox and Opera is slated for September.
