Muslim destruction of Christian history

There have been many examples throughout history of Muslim destruction of Christianity's holy sites and history.
Modern examples of Muslims destroying Christian history
*St. Elijah’s Monastery
:Islamic State destroy Iraq's oldest Christian monastery
:Satellite images confirm that the oldest Christian monastery in Iraq has been destroyed by the jihadist group Islamic State (IS).
:St Elijah's stood on a hill near the northern city of Mosul for 1,400 years.: A Catholic priest from Mosul warned that its Christian history was "being barbarically leveled."
* Mar Elian Monastery
:The Christian monastery was captured in August, when ISIS militants captured the Syrian town of al-Qaryatain near Palmyra. Dedicated to a 4th-century saint, it was an important pilgrimage site and sheltered hundreds of Syrian Christians. Bulldozers were reportedly used to topple its walls, and ISIS posted pictures of the destruction on Twitter.
* Afghanistan
:The last public Christian church in Afghanistan was razed in March 2010, according to a U.S. State Department's International Religious Freedom Report. The report covers the period of July 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010, also states that “there were no Christian schools in the country.”
* Deir el-Zour
: The Armenian Christian church in Deir el-Zour was built in dedication to the one and a half MILLION Armenians who were massacred by Turkish Muslims during the 1915 genocide. In an act against Syria’s Christians, Islamists blew up the great Armenian church in Deir el-Zour.
*Tomb of the Prophet Jonah
:The Islamic State (IS) bombed and destroyed the tomb of the Prophet Jonah east of Mosul on July 24. 2014.
