MusicReview is a rock and alternative music website from South Africa. Showcasing reviews, interviews, electronic entertainment, and the latest news from around the world, MusicReview is updated on a daily basis. History MusicReview was founded, designed, and developed by brothers Bret Dugmore and Jason Dugmore in September 2005. In 2009, Sergio Pereira joined the management team and has made a significant contribution in features, reviews and written articles. Initially started as a hobby, the site went through no less than four versions, before it finally came to the attention of the local community as one of the leading independent music e-zines in South Africa. Simultaneously, the website also attracted the attention of international readers and bands - with features appearing on the official websites of Kiss, 12th Avenue, Chromium and Pitchshifter amongst others. Currently, the site is managed by 3 young professionals with various other contributors. Content Focusing on the promotion of local and international acts, MusicReview publishes music news, album reviews, videos, features, and regular interviews with both signed and unsigned artists. The site also has a special artist section, which was created for artists/bands to have a dedicated page for their biography and links.
