The murder of Jana Shearer took place in in Tyler, Texas, USA. Christopher Lee McCuin is accused of murdering and cooking parts of the body of his girlfriend Jana Shearer on January 5, 2008. Police say that he has confessed to the crime and has been charged with her murder.

Jana Shearer graduated from John Tyler High School in 2002 and was a dancing drill team officer. At the time she was killed, she was living in her mother's house. Jana was 21 years old. She was the daughter of Stephanie and Tom Shearer and the sister of Rebekah Thomas and Melissa Shearer. Jana had only known Chris McCuin for a couple of months before he murdered her. They dated for a while until she found out disturbing things about his past.
Police believe that Shearer was abducted on January 4, 2008 and killed by a blunt trauma to the head. |
