Juliana Redding

Juliana Maureen Redding (October 25, 1986 - March 16, 2008) was an aspiring American actress and model. She was also a victim of murder.
She was born in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Gregory J. Redding (born c. 1957) and Patricia Maureen Boruff (born c. 1956). The family moved to Tucson, Arizona, where Juliana attended Salpointe Catholic High School. She was involved in the drama department and played on the varsity golf team.
Redding appeared in one film, playing the role as Sharon in the independent comedy Kathy T Gives Good Hoover (2005). While filming in Atlanta, Georgia, she met cast member Greg Cipes, who was her boyfriend for a while.
She moved to California to go to school and pursue a career in acting. While living in Santa Monica, Redding worked part time as a hostess at a Venice bistro and took classes at Santa Monica College. In 2007, Redding posed for Maxim. She was featured on the magazine's website as the winner of the weekly Hometown Hottie contest.
Juliana Redding was found murdered by what appeared to be blunt force trauma in her Santa Monica apartment on March 16, 2008, after police received a phone call from her concerned mother in Tucson, who had made several attempts to contact her daughter.
Very few details have been released about the murder or the police investigation. They have not said if they believe she knew her attacker. There were early reports of blood found outside her apartment, but police have not commented on the forensic results or any of the evidence at the crime scene. It has also not been revealed whether any of Redding's neighbors heard screams or other sounds of a struggle. The case is currently unsolved with no named suspect or motive for the murder. The file has been sealed.
