Multi Gaming Clan

A multi gaming clan is a number of online gamers (generally PC gamers) that work as a team when playing on a number of different games, generally at some sort of competitive level in online and/or LAN leagues such as ESL.
There are a number of gaming clan and communities that are classed as multi gaming clans all over the world but some of the most known of these are in the UK such as Team Dignitas (a Professional E-Sports Team) who play a whole selection of games at a competitive level and are in fact among the best in the world! Another well know UK multi gaming clan is Military Intelligence 5 who where the BF2 (battlefield 2) tournament winners at i37 (I-Series is the UK's largest LAN event) and have been gaming since 2004.
A lot of multi gaming clans tend to play first person shooters such as Counter Strike Source, Battlefield, Call of Duty and the newer FPS games Bad Company 2.
Multi gaming clan structure
The structure for multi gaming clans tends to be a little different from clans that only play a single game as a team. This is due to having to manage members, scrims, clan matches and so on for each games section of the clan, this job is often too large and hard for just one or two senior clan members to manage on their own.
To combat this clan leaders will often appoint other well know/respected clan members the task of managing a section/game for or along side them. This means that each game will have its own dedicated team leader to manage its team member, matches and so on.
This is by far the best way to manage a multi gaming clan and gives the clan a much better chance of succeeding in all the games played. This for of clan management also leaves the clan leader's' and co-leader's' open to manage other aspects of the clan such as website management, sponsorships, LAN events and so much more to help grow and better the clan.
Game server options
As with all online gaming clans, the choice of game servers and GSP (game server provider) is one of those that has a large impact on how well the clan performs and how many game servers can be run.
A lot of multi gaming clans will want to run a number of different games for its member to play on and have the options to run other online service for its members. The best option for this when it comes to running a number of different game servers for multiple games is to rent a dedicated server so you have full control over what games are host and when to change to a different game if your clan wants a change or adds a new clan game to its list.
For those multi gaming clans that want to host individual game servers rather than having to manage their own dedicated server there's always the option of picking a GSP to host and manage the games like the majority of online gamers do.
