Muhammed Fazeel

Muhammed Fazeel is a young entrepreneur in Chicago, Illinois/Champaign, Illinois.
Entrepreneurship
Fazeel is currently involved with several different entrepreneurial initiatives. He is heading a start-up that is working to create a cardiac monitoring solution for emergency situations. The device, known as I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) is a non-invasive and affordable device that will cut costs to both patients and health insurance companies.
In the educational field, he was behind Tabule a startup aimed at increasing classroom comprehension. He left Tabule as of July 2012.
In addition, Fazeel also recently spoke in detail about both initiatives, what drove him to these ideas, as well as his views on the keys to success at a TEDx event at the Illinois Institute of Technology. His TEDx talk "startups simplified" is posted on YouTube.
Awards
In 2012, Fazeel was named a Finalist for the Lemelson-MIT Prize Illinois Student prize. In a year where the competition dominated by Ph.D students, he was the only undergraduate to reach the finals.
In 2011, Fazeel was awarded the Illinois fifty for the future designation.
