Muhammad Alshareef (alternative spelling: Muhammad Ash-Shareef) is a Muslim lecturer and teacher who has authored several articles and speeches on various issues in Islam, especially those related to the Muslim community in the West. He is a speaker in many Muslim circles in the United States, Canada, England, and Australia. Biography Alshareef was born in 1975 to Egyptian parents and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In his youth, he memorized the Qur'an and later graduated after six years attending the Islamic University of Madinah, class of 1999. He is one of the founders of Al-Maghrib Institute through which he teaches seminars on Islam. Al-Maghrib Institute seminars have been conducted across the USA, Canada, and United Kingdom in seventeen cities.<ref name=DiscoverU/> Current Activities While he continues to teach, Alshareef now devotes much of his time to managing AlMaghrib Institute and EmanRush Audio. He has also founded EmanRush Audio and Khutbah.com, and actively keeps in touch with the online community at the AlMaghrib Forums.<ref name=AlMaghrib/>He is married and lives in Ottawa, Canada.
