Mourya Re (, , also known as "Maurya Re"), is a 2006 Hindi song from the movie Don: The Chase Begins Again. The track is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. Development This was the first song composed, as it is considered auspicious to start any event with the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The composers used layeres of real Lezim bands and Nasik dhols which are used in processions during Ganesh Chaturthi. They individually recorded the parts and assembled them later on. The Sound engineer, accidentally erased the song after it was recorded. The trio had to redo the entire track again from scratch. Reception Joginder Tuteja of Bollywood Hungama described the song as "a lively number that is easy on ears and keeps the Indian melody intact" while Sukanya Verma of Rediff called it an "ebullient track which released at the right time". Planet Bollywood remarked it as a song that niche of listeners who like the Ganpati songs.
