Mount Druid

Mount Druid is an Irish wedding venue located in Castletown Geoghegan, County Westmeath, owned by Adrian and Deirdre Murphy. Mount Druid was established as a glamping site in 2011 before being transformed into a wedding venue in 2012. The estate spans 113 acres of land, including an 11 acre arboretum. The grounds of Mount Druid contain over 200,000 broad leaf trees, which were planted in 2006. Mount Druid is also home to the largest Giant Redwood forest outside of the United States, with over 1,000 Giant Redwoods. The Glebe House on the estate is known as Vastina House, it was built in 1775 as a Church of Ireland rectory. Secular weddings at Mount Druid take place in the Tin Chapel on the site
