Motorsport Scooters is a San Diego, CA-based motor scooter retailer that conducts business worldwide through mail order and there website. Motorsport Scooters' primary focus is selling parts and accessories for vintage Vespa, new Vespa, Genuine, Kymco, Piaggio, Honda, Yamaha, Bajaj, Aprilia, Suzuki & Derbi scooters. They also have a huge showroom full of new bikes and some used ones. The crew also performs maintenance, repairs and restoration in-house. History Motorsport Scooters has been in business since 1992. It was founded by a guy named Alex Cohn who started fixing and rebuilding scooters from his mom's garage in 1986. He began by ordering commonly requested parts and soon after he started buying out inventories from stores around San Diego. This created a massively overflowing stockpile of parts in his mom's garage, front yard, rear yard, side yard and bedrooms. Local scooterists soon found out about him and his parts, so he opened up his first shop in 1992, Vespa Motorsport. His shop started catering to all scooterists and joined in on many scooter rallies around the west coast, up to Seattle and out as far east as Colorado. Eventually the shop moved into it's current location in a neighborhood of San Diego known as North Park.
