MotorBeam is a nine-authored Indian automotive web-portal which publishes car and bike related news, reviews and road test comparisons which is updated everyday. It also makes videos under sections such as acceleration test review, comparison review, individual car review and drag races. MotorBeam was founded in May 2008 by car enthusiast Faisal Khan, who has an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis International University, along with his brother Javeid Khan. Faisal was featured in India Today's Aspire Magazine (January 2014) for MotorBeam in an article titled "10 entrepreneurs who have set up one of a kind companies." The portal is famous for its shootouts where MotorBeam always selects one winner, at times resulting in disagreement from vehicle owners of a particular brand. As of January 2017, MotorBeam garnered 115000+ subscribers on Youtube with highly engaging car and bike reviews. After the news was published MotorBeam's Chief Editor Mr. Faisal Khan commented that Mahindra has responded and has taken this very positively. The company said it's an eye opener for them.
