Most Cited Universities methodology The Most Cited Universities research is a project which has been developing by Luca Boscolo. It provides an indication of research impact measured by total citations. Total Citations for a particular university or institution is calculated by the following simple step process: #Get all the paper for a particular university or institution #For each paper sums the citations number for year: 2011, 2012 The database used for the calculation is Scopus The process also produces citations number for a particular area (as identified in Scopus), for a specific university The study will highlight the highest cited articles Results for 2012 This is still under development Results for 2011 This is still under development Discussion This is still under development
