Mosley Guitars

The Mosley Guitar Company is an American company manufacturing reissue guitars based on vintage electric guitars and basses from the 1960s and 1970s under the ownership of Grayson USA.

History

Mosley was founded in California in 1962 and was part of the explosion of rock, country, blues and other types of popular music. During the 1960's, Mosley was responsible for many innovations in electric guitar construction. In 1965, Mosley offered the unique ability to custom order guitars through their "Custom Shop", well before other manufacturers offered these services to their customers nearly two decades later.

While most other electric guitar makers offered hollow-body guitars, Mosley created versatile solid-body electric guitars similar to the way Leo Fender produced his electric guitars. Mosley also makes acoustic guitars and electric bass guitars.
