Morph is a musical form that seamlessly morphs from one cultural sound to another.Morph Music uses day to day sounds which are often 'neglected' as music. The wide unpredictability, coupled up with the continuous change in the cultural landscape, structure and topography of music is its basic feature. The origin of the genre is credited to a ,Kolkata, India. Bassist Sharthok Chakraborty coined the term. The band is heavily inspired by Bop,Post Bop,Free Jazz,Avant-Garde.Major influence of Avant-Garde musicians such as Ornette Coleman, John Cage ,John Zorn,Derek Bailey and Fred Frith have contributed much towards their new sound.
