Morgan Beikirch

Morgan Beikirch (born July 2, 1987) is an American ice hockey coach and retired player. She played ice hockey with the Buffalo Beauts of the (NWHL) and with the of College Hockey America.
Career
Beikirch attended Robert Morris University where she played NCAA Division I ice hockey with the Colonials program. During her four seasons at Robert Morris, she was the team’s top point scorer in both her freshman and junior seasons. In her sophomore season, she created the longest point streak in Colonials program history, accumulating nine points in eight consecutive games.
She also played three seasons with the Robert Morris women’s golf program in the Northeast Conference and earned a National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar award in 2008.

NWHL
Beikirch signed with the Buffalo Beauts as a practice player for the 2016-17 NWHL season. She played in three regular season games and had her name engraved on the Isobel Cup as a member of the 2017 champion team.
Coaching
Beikirch began coaching youth ice hockey in 2004 with Maksymum Hockey, a private hockey instruction school in Rochester, New York, and was named a Lead Instructor in 2007. She both designed and ran summer camps for the company during her time as an undergraduate at Robert Morris. She served as assistant coach to the Cortland Red Dragons of the ECAC West for the 2010-11 season. Since 2009, she has been held various positions with the Rochester Youth Hockey, including coaching several of the girl’s teams, and currently runs group clinics and the organization’s beginner program.
Personal life
Beirkirch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Robert Morris University and a Master of Education in literacy from SUNY Geneseo. Outside of hockey, she works as an elementary school teacher in Western New York.
Former NHL player Ryan Callahan is Beikirch’s second cousin.<ref name=":0" />
