MoneyBar Technologies Inc. is a Canadian-based company incorporated in Nevada, USA. It sells systems for Prepaid (stored-value) and Loyalty Cards. Through its proprietary electronic transaction engine branded as MoneyBar, the company operates real-time prepaid, loyalty and rewards processing for its customers. Some of MoneyBar Technologies’ clients are: Orca Bay Entertainment (Vancouver Canucks - www.canucks.com), Blenz Coffee, Dominos Pizza, Cobs Bread, EasyPark, City of Vancouver (off-street-parking), Steamworks Restaurants, Sequoia Group of fine restaurants, Horizons Group of fine restaurants, Delaney’s Coffee, Esquires Coffee, Waves Coffee, Take-5 Cafes, etc. MoneyBar's products come in the form of systems that support prepaid loyalty cards running on real-time infrastructure. that services small, medium and large size customers. These products substantially reduce the handling of cash, paperwork and other costly methods of tracking, reporting and payment. The system uses card programs that lower clients’ costs, increase their profits, enhance their customers’ experience and retains customers. The Company also introduced the capability of extending the life of gift cards by enabling them to be reloaded. For doing this, MoneyBar earns transaction fees and development contracts. Most major retailers operate electronic gift card programs or loyalty programs involving large upfront investments developed and operated by outsourced companies. Such expensive programs are usually beyond the reach of small to medium sized businesses (SMEs). MoneyBar exploits this underserved SME opportunity by making the entry level investments low. By distributing its service through Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), MoneyBar Technologies is also able to reduce its sales and marketing costs.
