Mohit Shah

Mohit Rajiv Shah (born November 14, 1987) is an American energy executive. He is the Chief Executive Officer for NEXTGen Syndicate, LLC, a US-based alternative energy lobbying, consulting and development firm.
Personal life & education
Mohit was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He attended the George Washington University pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Political Science in 2006. Mohit has dedicated his time and youth towards the development of alternative energy projects. Mohit attended Overbrook Senior High School located in Pine Hill, New Jersey.
While attending Overbrook Senior High School, Mohit served as Senior Class President and began Project Graduation. Mohit continues his support for the program, which has been successful for 4 years, by mentoring Class Presidents in the "know-how" of fund raising and organizing events. He also was the , which is recognized by the United States Congress as a leadership development program, allowing youth to become civil leaders.
Mohit has always been an avid traveler. He spends most of his time searching for a new experience, and finding new opportunities.
Career
While completing his schooling, Mohit worked for NEXTGen Syndicate, LLC as Chief Executive Officer, a company that he started with Francis D. Murray in Washington, DC.
In 2007, Mohit created an opportunity for the implementation of a Solar Thermal Power Plant, and began discussing various details which would allow this project come about. He launched this initiative, and began by founding NGSolar Pvt. Ltd. a solar distribution and generating company based in Gujarat, India. Mohit serves as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of NGSolar Pvt. Ltd, where he began by approaching various State Government of Gujarat officials in order to set up India's Largest Solar Thermal Power Plant, and one of the largest in the world.
In January, 2009, Mohit signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat in India to become the youngest person in the history of India to sign a MOU with a State Government. Currently, Mohit has led NEXTGen Syndicate to the forefront of Solar Development, building a foundation to truly inspire the creation of solar energy in India and throughout the World.
Mohit also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Cachet Management Group, a DC based luxurious branding group. Mohit's role at Cachet Management Group is to develop and expand the business with CEO Darcy Jones. To add to his list of endeavors, Mohit is currently working on companies which will "revamp" the their respective industries in the years to come, not limited to Medical Tourism, Educational Services, and Clothing and Fashion. In all of these developing companies, Mohit serves as an adviser and strategic planner. He believes that the right direction with the right leadership and "know-how" will lead to successful companies, he offers his services and his network hoping to create another successful opportunity.
Mohit in the past had spent much of his time working on event planning in Washington, DC. Mohit has worked with Highlife Enertainment, LLC, Jumpoff Productions, and Capital Beats Entertainment a firm founded by him to promote nightlife and private parties within the District of Columbia catering to all groups of people. Mohit's list of accomplished venues extends from the "high profile" nightclubs of DC to local bars for social gatherings. Mohit has created an image for entertainment with some of the best in the business in DC.
