Mohgborr

Moghborr is a young bugbear in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign played by the Northland Preparatory Academy Games Club, with Mr. Vincent Bono acting as Dungeon Master.

Moghborr grew up in a tribe of bugbears working for a powerful necromancer by the name of "The Hand" (character and all rights owned by Mr. Bono). These bugbears were a raiding party, acting as the brute force to back up The Hand's sinister intellect. Mohgborr lived an average life for a bugbear, spending his life looting, training, and pillaging. The zenith of his life came, however, when The Hand ordered him and a couple comrades to lead a force of goblinoids serving Faulgar, a were-rat wizard. A party of adventurers infiltrated the lair of Faulgar, and after tricking Faulgar into sending most of his army elsewhere, the adventurers attacked, and Mohgborr led a small band of kobolds, orcs, goblins, and a few bugbears into combat to defend their sinister master. Unfortunately, Mohgborr fell, as a black bear commanded by a Wood Elf Ranger, played by Mak Manson, ripped open Mohgborr's chest cavity. Faulgar and the goblinoids soon fell, and the party began to rejoice until they heard the sound of a hill giant approaching. A Half-Elf Cleric/Necromancer, played by Foster Bousquet, cast Animate Dead on Mohgborr, and Mohgborr rose to fight with the party. The hill giant emerged, and the adventurers began to assault it. Nathan Grey, a Human Warrior played by Krishen Blows, attempted to hamstring the giant, but the giant kicked him, and he fell down, dropping his knife. The giant turned to stomp on Nathan, but was stopped as Mohgborr intercepted by grievously wounding the giant with a swing from his battle-axe, effectively saving Nathan's life. The giant was soon slain, the Necromancer released his spell, and Mohgborr's lifeless corpse fell to the ground. Nathan approched it, and took the patched-up, ratty piece of cloth that Mohgborr wore across his shoulders and back, and Nathan donned it as a cloak. Forever wearing The Cloak Of Mohgborr as a memorial to the big, furry goblinoid that had saved his life. The only downside is that due to Mohgborr's less-than-obsessive regard to personal hygiene in life, the cloak is so foul that it comes with an automatic -5 Charisma modifier.
