Mohamed Ibrahim Basuony

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim Basuony Salem (born November 12, 1960) is an Egyptian ecologist and mammalogist.
He graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo in 1983, and received his Ph.D. in 1993 from the same institution which titled" Studies on anatomical basis of habitat partitioning among rodents of a desert ecosystem".
He published a numerous articles, with his mentor Prof. Dr. Mostafa A. Saleh, concerning Egyptian fauna
