Modeo is a local Grand Rapids, Michigan artist who began his solo career as a composer, music producer, songwriter, and singer in 2007 with the release of the single SOS. Modeo is affiliated with ModeoMusic. Modeo has been featured and aired multiple times on the radio station 104.5 WSNX-FM on the Club 104 Five show in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Biography Marian Cristian Rosu was born in Bucharest, Romania on March 5, 1988 during the fall of communism. After the revolutionary war in Romanian, Marian left with his father (Lucian Rosu), mother (Nicoleta Rosu), and brother (Octavian Rosu) to Grand Rapids, Michigan in the United States of America. At age four, Modeo began taking classical music piano lessons and continued to do so for 12 years. At age 8, Marian began composing classical music on the piano. At age 16, he built his home recording studio and began producing and recording music mostly of an electronic music genre. Modeo now records under his own indie label titled ModeoMusic with other artists such as a Liza Parsons and Natalya.
